TPoT Publications Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to TPoT Publications, an application developed and operated by TPoT Solutions.
Last updated: 25 September 2026. Official website: https://tpot-solutions.com/publications/.
1. About TPoT Publications
TPoT Publications is a WordPress-based publishing application for businesses. It helps authorized users prepare content and publish it to their website and connected social channels. This policy covers the application’s handling of information, including optional Facebook, Instagram and TikTok connections. The business operating a customer website is responsible for its own website content, visitors and privacy notices.
2. Information processed and why
- Contact information: your name, business name and contact details when you request access, services or support.
- Connection information: identifiers for the accounts, Pages or profiles you authorize, basic profile information made available by the platform, granted permissions, and access or refresh tokens needed to maintain the authorized connection.
- Publication information: text, images, videos, captions, selected channels and publication settings, together with publication identifiers, status and error information needed to carry out and troubleshoot your requests.
- Technical information: information such as IP addresses and technical logs processed by the website and hosting services to operate and secure the service.
We process this information to provide the publishing features you request, identify connected accounts, maintain authorized connections, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors and protect the service. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
3. TikTok integration
When you choose to connect TikTok, TikTok Login Kit handles authorization. The user.info.basic permission is used to identify the connected account. The video.upload and video.publish permissions support uploading videos and publishing videos through TikTok’s Content Posting API, where available and authorized. TPoT Publications sends the video, caption and applicable publication settings required for the action you request to TikTok. TikTok processes information under its own policies. You should enter your TikTok password only in TikTok’s own sign-in interface.
4. Facebook and Instagram integration
When you authorize these connections, TPoT Publications may process Facebook Page identifiers, Instagram professional account identifiers, access tokens and publication information to publish and manage content you request. The connection retrieves the Pages you manage, their names and identifiers, Page access tokens, and linked Instagram professional account identifiers and usernames so that you can choose a destination. When diagnostics are used, the app may read recent Facebook Page posts and Instagram media, including text or captions, identifiers, media types and timestamps, to check publication and crossposting results. Meta processes information under its own policies.
5. Storage, recipients and security
TPoT Publications operates within a WordPress environment. Application information may be held by the relevant website, its hosting and backup providers, and the connected platform. Authorized website administrators and service providers may have access where necessary for operation, support or security. Content is sent to the channels you select; publication can make that content visible to the audience selected on that platform. We take appropriate measures to protect information and limit access. Where applicable, transfers outside the EEA must be covered by appropriate data-protection safeguards.
6. Legal grounds and retention
Depending on the purpose, processing is based on providing the services you request, your consent where required, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or legal obligations. We retain personal information only as long as needed for those purposes or applicable legal, tax and accounting requirements. The plugin does not automatically expire publication records. Marking a publication as deleted cancels its pending jobs but does not erase the database record, associated media or existing social posts. Website administrators must handle erasure and retention for their installation. Retention of customer-site records and hosting backups also depends on the arrangements for that website.
7. Disconnecting and requesting deletion
You can withdraw the application’s authorization through the connected platform’s account settings. To request removal of connection data or other personal information held in relation to TPoT Publications, contact privacy@tpot-solutions.com and identify the relevant website and account. Do not send passwords or access tokens. For a customer-operated WordPress installation, the website administrator may also need to act on your request. Disconnecting an account does not automatically remove content already published to a social platform; manage or delete that content through the relevant platform. Backup copies may remain until they expire under the applicable retention arrangements.
Use the TPoT Publications Data Deletion Instructions for practical steps to disconnect accounts and request erasure. Disconnecting is not the same as deleting all application data.
8. Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. You can also complain to the competent data-protection authority. Contact TPoT Solutions at privacy@tpot-solutions.com for privacy questions or requests.
9. Changes and related information
Updates to this policy will be published here with a revised date. See the TPoT Publications Terms of Service and return to TPoT Publications.
