At TPoT-Solutions, accessible via TPoT Solutions, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

TPoT Publications connects authorized Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts for publishing and related diagnostics. Its detailed data handling, retention and deletion information is set out in the TPoT Publications Privacy Policy.

We do not sell this information. Access tokens and related connection data are stored only as required to provide the service and may be removed when the user disconnects the integration or requests deletion.

5a. TPoT Opening Hours and Google Business Profile

TPoT Opening Hours is a WordPress plugin provided by TPoT Solutions for managing regular opening hours and date-specific exceptions. Its optional Google Business Profile connection is intended to send those hours to a business location selected by an authorized user.

Data accessed and purpose. When you authorize the connection, the plugin accesses Business Profile account information and location identifiers, names and store codes to let you select a location. It uses Google’s business profile management permission to update regular and special opening hours for that location. This permission is broader than opening hours alone; the plugin’s hours update operation is limited to those two sets of fields. The plugin does not request your Google password.

Local storage and recipients. The plugin stores its settings in the database of the WordPress installation where it runs. These include opening hours, exceptions, language settings, the selected Google location, OAuth client configuration, access and refresh tokens, connection status and recent diagnostic messages. Requests for authorization, token renewal and hours updates are sent directly to Google. People and service providers with authorized access to the site’s database, administration or backups may be able to access the stored information. Version 1.6.0 does not itself encrypt these stored tokens; hosting and backup protection depend on the site’s configuration.

Retention. Version 1.6.0 retains up to 50 recent diagnostic entries and one recovery copy of hours and language settings. These have no automatic age-based expiry. Regular hours and settings remain until changed or removed. The plugin removes dated exceptions once their date is before the current local date. Deactivating or removing the plugin does not provide a complete data-erasure workflow. Copies in hosting backups are subject to the relevant hosting retention arrangements.

Disconnecting and deletion. Disconnecting in the plugin removes the local access and refresh tokens, token expiry and location selection, and disables automatic synchronization. It does not erase all settings, logs or backups, withdraw Google’s authorization or undo hours already sent to Google. You can withdraw the app’s authorization in your Google Account settings. This may affect other connections using the same app/project. For assistance with access or deletion requests, contact privacy@tpot-solutions.com and identify the relevant website. Please do not send passwords or tokens.

Limited Use. TPoT Opening Hours uses Google user data only to provide and maintain the connection and opening-hours functionality you authorize. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising, credit assessment or unrelated profiling. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. Human access is limited to circumstances permitted under that policy, such as assistance you expressly authorize, necessary security work or legal obligations.
