TPoT Publications Data Deletion

These data deletion instructions apply to TPoT Publications, an application developed and operated by TPoT Solutions.

Request deletion of your data

Email privacy@tpot-solutions.com with the subject “TPoT Publications data deletion”. Include the website where you used the app, the connected platform and the account or Page name or identifier, and describe which data you want removed. Never send passwords, access tokens or app secrets.

We will verify that the request relates to your account and coordinate removal with the relevant website administrator where necessary. We will respond with the outcome or explain any information that must be retained and why, in accordance with applicable requirements. For a customer-operated installation, you can also contact that website’s administrator directly.

Disconnect Facebook and Instagram

An authorized website administrator can disconnect Meta in the TPoT Publications connection settings. The plugin attempts to revoke the authorization and clears locally stored user tokens, the cached Page list and the selected Facebook Page and Instagram account. You can also review and remove TPoT Publications through your Facebook account’s Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings. Removing an authorization can affect other connections that use the same app.

Disconnect TikTok

An authorized website administrator can disconnect TikTok in the TPoT Publications connection settings. The plugin attempts to revoke the connection and removes its local access and refresh tokens, account identifier and cached account information. You can also revoke authorization through your TikTok account settings.

What disconnecting does not delete

Disconnecting does not erase all publication records, uploaded media, application configuration, logs or hosting backups. The plugin’s publication Delete action marks the record as deleted and cancels pending jobs; it is not complete data erasure. Request removal of remaining personal information using the email address above. Content already published on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok must be managed or deleted on the relevant platform. Disconnecting does not delete your social account.

Backup copies are handled under the retention arrangements of the relevant website and hosting provider. Any information retained for a lawful obligation must be limited to that purpose.
